Here's a picture of my parents and sister and brother-in-law (and two nephews, Nolan and Murray) on the day of our wedding ceremony in Tampa, Florida. This picture was taken after we had finished with the ceremony. We had the ceremony just behind the counter in the office of the county clerk here. The whole process took about 15 minutes! Then we drank champagne and had a lovely dinner at a nice restaurant. In a few days, we're off to Barcelona for our honeymoon!

Students present plays!

This past semester I taught a playwriting mini-course for high school students. After many months of writing and rewriting, students directed (and in some cases, starred in) their short plays. We performed these plays last Monday, to a packed house! They were a big hit. The students all did such a great job with writing, directing, and performing. This is a photo the play written by Daniel, starring the writer himself and Tricia, a co-worker of mine.

Students perform my short play

So here are my playwriting students performing a very silly short play I wrote for them. It's actually a comedy, if you can believe it (certainly not my usual style). This group of students is quite talented and they are all "naturals" for the stage!
